B. Earnest Long — Of Counsel

B. Earnest Long is Of Counsel with the firm of Long & Long, LLC.  B. Earnest’s practice focuses in litigation, estate planning including wills and trusts, and real estate.  Additionally, B. Earnest advises on numerous local government matters, having been the solicitor for several local school boards and municipalities.  B. Earnest has long been AV® Preeminent(TM) Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® with a perfect 5.0 peer review rating.

One of Westmoreland County’s best and most respected trial attorneys, B. Earnest has tried countless jury trials and been awarded numerous verdicts, including one that was at that point the largest in Westmoreland County history.  In addition, he is a founding member of the Westmoreland Academy of Trial Lawyers and a past president of the Westmoreland County Bar Association.  In 2008, the Pennsylvania Bar Association recognized his dedicated service as a 50-year member of that organization.

A 1957 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, B. Earnest was a solo practitioner until 1964, when he co-founded the firm of Robinson, Fisher and Long, later Fisher, Long & Rigone.  In 1962 he opened a night office in Export for his clients' convenience. The firm recently celebrated that office’s 50th anniversary.

B. Earnest grew up in Export and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1951 before serving from 1952-1954 in the United States Army during the Korean War.

B. Earnest splits his time between his his local residence and his home in Smethport, where he lives with his wife, Pat.  He currently advises both his son and grandson on numerous issues, making Long & Long, LLC the only firm in Westmoreland County currently offering three generations of experience.

Wesley T. Long — Attorney at Law

Wesley T. Long is the managing partner and co-founder of Long & Long, LLC.  Wesley’s practice concentrates in several areas, primarily personal injury and accident litigation, estate planning including wills and trusts, probate and estate administration and real estate.

Wesley is one of Westmoreland County’s foremost and respected lawyers.  He has extensive trial and courtroom experience, including numerous jury and non-jury trials and appellate work before the Pennsylvania Supreme, Superior and Commonwealth Courts.  Wesley is also AV® Preeminent(TM) Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, including a perfect 5.0 peer review rating.  The readers of the Tribune-Review have awarded him the Gold Medal multiple years as the best lawyer in Westmoreland County.

In 1995-1996 Wesley served as President of the Westmoreland County Bar Association, of which he has been a member since 1980.  Additionally, Wesley is a member and past president of the Westmoreland County Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

A native of Westmoreland County, Wesley attended Duquesne Law School, where he graduated summa cum laude and was an associate editor of the Duquesne Law Review.  In his third year, Wesley received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Family Law.  After law school, he joined the Greensburg firm of Fisher, Long & Rigone with his father, B. Earnest Long, before co-founding Long & Long, LLC.

Wesley lives in Export with his wife of more than 32 years, Patty, and is the father of three children, including his son Adam, a third generation lawyer at the firm.

Adam J. Long — Attorney at Law, MBA

Adam J. Long is an attorney with the firm of Long & Long, LLC and the son and grandson of Long & Long, LLC co-founders, Wesley T. Long and B. Earnest Long.  Adam is proud to be the third generation of Long lawyers in Westmoreland County and continuously strives to uphold the highest standards of legal services, professionalism and integrity established by his father and grandfather.

Adam’s practice focuses in litigation, including personal injury and automobile accidents, estate planning, including probate and estate administration, real estate and business advising.  Additionally, Adam believes that the most important aspect of a lawyer’s role is as counselor, and he works every day to be attentive and responsive to the needs of his clients.

Adam attended William and Mary School of Law, graduating in 2007.  After his first and second summers of law school, Adam clerked for the Honorable Joseph Hudock of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.  He is a 2004 graduate of the College of William and Mary.  Additionally, he has his MBA in real estate from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class.

Adam lives in Regent Square near Pittsburgh with his wife Christen and their mischievous golden retriever, Crosby.
